SmartDraw 95 is a powerful but easy-to-use drawing package for creating flowcharts, organization charts, fishbone diagrams, network diagrams, timelines, business presentations, and other diagrams. SmartDraw's ease of use makes it particularly suitable for users who need to create professional quality drawings quickly and simply, without having to invest time in learning to use a complex application.

It includes more than 1500 pre-drawn shapes and symbols that you simply drag onto your drawing. With automatic formatting you can create professional diagrams. Shapes and lines automatically line up using SmartDraw's snap-to grid and other alignment tools. Lines and curves that connect shapes together stay connected, even when you move the shapes. You can draw huge diagrams (up to 50 x 50 inches with thousands of symbols per drawing). SmartDraw is an OLE client, so you can transfer drawings to your word processor and other programs (for example, Microsoft Office, Word Perfect, Lotus, etc.). The "attach" feature lets you link any file (even a Web page or a program) to any SmartDraw image. It supports rich text editing so it is great for presentations. You can choose from a library of color schemes and shadow styles. Images can be imported or exported in WMF (Windows Metafile), BMP, PCX, GIF, JPG or TIFF. The GIF files can be exported with options for interlacing and transparent background colours for use with WWW pages.

SmartDraw is designed so that users can begin working immediately, without having to read any documentation. It includes built-in hints, tooltips, online help, and a drag and drop drawing interface.
